Available October 11th and 12th, 2024 • Yom Kippur, the most solemn of Jewish religious holidays, is observed on the 10th day of the lunar month of Tishri. When Jews seek to expiate their sins and achieve reconciliation with God. Yom Kippur concludes the “10 days of repentance” that begins on Rosh Hashana (New Year’s Day). The purpose of Yom Kippur is to effect individual and collective purification. By practicing forgiveness for the sins of others and by sincere repentance for one’s own sins against God.
